  3. This window will calculate the distances per degree at certain latitudes.

  5. The latitude and longitude entered when this window first opens is for the currently selected location.  The latitude is needed for correct distance calculations.  The distance varies according to the latitude.

  7. If you wish to determine the distance for a set number of degrees of Latitude or Longitude, enter the number of degrees in the entry field in front of ‚Äúdegrees =‚Äù for Latitude or Longitude.

  9. If you wish to determine the degrees of Latitude or Longitude in an ‚Äúx‚Äù amount of miles/kms.  Enter the miles/kms into the entry field before the miles/kms buttons.  Select the unit of measure with the buttons.
